The Daily Journal: Gordon Recovering From Surgery

State Sen. Jack Gordon’s surgery Friday morning to remove a brain tumor “went well,” according to a Senate colleague.

Sen. Terry Burton, R-Newton, said the surgery went well and “a good portion” of the tumor tissue was removed and sent to pathology. But Burton said the results of the pathology test will not be known for a few days.

The four-hour surgery was to remove a tumor on Gordon’s right frontal lobe.
